Homework Week 4


ANZAC DIGGER RESEARCH TASK.

This is your homework task for Week 4/5. It is due Wednesday Week 5. You are expected to put a lot of time and consideration into your tribute poster for your chosen ANZAC digger who died on 25th April 1915.

You are to log onto the Gallipoli and ANZAC website and research an ANZAC Digger from the 11th Battalion.  HERE

Your job is to create a tribute poster to the ANZAC Digger have you chosen. You will need to include facts about him such as, his age when he went to war, D.O.B, former occupation and burial place. Remember to also include his panel number on the Roll of Honour at the War Memorial. When we visit the War Memorial in Canberra, you will be able to visit his name and say thank you.

Also search through the side bar and the home page for inspiration of the website to create your tribute poster.
Remember, you are saying thank you to this ANZAC Digger and all other ANZACS.

Once you have found all the facts and inspiration you need, make your tribute poster on A3 paper. You can take photos and collect information at the War Memorial. 

 On Wednesday morning Week 5 you will hand it to your teacher. Take care of your tribute poster it will be displayed in the classrooms and possibly the office area.
